Update

We're still here!  We are looking forward to 2013 being blessed and spirit filled.  The church family here at Henderson CCCU have been through some very hard trials this past year.  Our pastor and family lost their oldest daughter to brain cancer on October 23, 2012.  Due to her extended illness most of 2012 was spent caring for her.  The entire church and community have been affected by the loss of Karagen.  In spite of our grief it is our desire to move forward and see what God has in store for us in the New Year.

We are excited to once again be offering Children's Church.  Our pastor's wife, Crystal will be teaching children 11 and under during the Sunday morning message.  This will give the children more lessons and teaching at their age level, as well as allow parents to enjoy the message without their children getting antsy or bored.  Crystal has over 10 years of experience teaching children and homeschooled 4 of her own children for a year.  They will be blessed and if you don't make it to Sunday school then Children's Church is a great alternative.

Pastor Jonathan will also be re-starting Youth night which will begin this month, January 17.  The youth will meet every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:00. Pastor Jonathan enjoyed teaching and reaching the local youth.  The Youth night was very successful but due to his daughter's illness it was not possible for him to continue teaching so  the Youth Night's had to be cancelled.  He is very excited to start connecting with the local Youth and share his passion for Christ.   Light  refreshments will be served followed by a Bible study and activity.  We would love to see any interested young person attend, you won't regret it!
